Amazing food from my amazing culture

In my culture we have a lot of delicious food. One of my family's favorite food is Enchiladas, they are tortillas put in oil to make them kind of oily. You but some home made sauce green or red, I prefer red. Then you can put chicken, potatoes, or even cheese in it. We eat that as a family because it's the best thing about our culture, the food. They also have tamales, possolle, flower tortillas and much More.

Theme - The Outsiders

I think that one of the themes the author was trying to teach us is that people shouldn't be separated by how much money they have or how they look. I think this because if the Socs and the greasers didn't have money or looks to separate them, the Socs wouldn't have jumped Ponyboy and Johnny. Therefor Johnny wouldn't have killed bob the Socs to try to save Ponyboy. They also wouldn't have had the rumble and Dally wouldn't have got killed or all three of them wouldn't have gone into the church to try to save those kids and have gotten injured.

How this reflects on me - The Outsiders

I could kind of relate to Pony boy and Johnny because their life is kind of like mine. They are always quiet just like me not unless you get to know me. Like I could keep so much inside me it's kind of scary. I'm like Johnny and Pony boy because I feel like I have to run away from my problems like the way Johnny and Pony boy did when Johnny had killed Bob the Socs. I'm also similar to them because they both don't seem as they look. Like they look all mean and tuff but really they are nice, sweet and caring. In the book Pony boy feels like his older brother doesn't care about him or anything but then again Johnny's not wanted or cared at his house because his family abuses him and yells at him. That's the only time Johnny feels noticed at home. Johnny and Pony boy are similar because they both feel that way and both want to run away from their problems but then they realize that's not the right decision. The same way with me, I then end up knowing that's not the right decision because you will never get past that and maybe one day it would come back and haunt you. I also relate to them because Johnny has that sad look in his eyes and he looks like he's a lost puppy. To be honest that's how I feel at this school like I'm lost and don't really belong. That's why I could kind of relate to Pony boy and Johnny.
